HR Leaders Collective Montreal

20 HR leaders in tech. 4 expert facilitators. 1 top-of-mind challenge facing the industry. An infinite number of creative ideas and solutions. HR Leaders Collective is a structured think tank that aims to activate collective knowledge — brokering ideas, stimulating debate, and offering creative yet practical solutions. The key outcome is a branded ebook that will be shared with the broader HR community. We are currently curating challenges and themes for the next group of HR Leaders Collective events – Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, New York City and more. Montreal will take place on September 29, 2022, in downtown Montreal at IDEAL Coworking. We are proud to be partnering with TAP Network, New Room, and WorkModern on these fantastic events in 2022.

Leveraging EDI to Drive Innovation

As the world faces increasing challenges on all fronts: social, economic, and environmental – it’s become increasingly clear that organizations will need to become extremely skilled at adapting and innovating to meet the growing needs and expectations of both employees and consumers. Beyond simply diversifying your workforce, designing and implementing practices and processes rooted in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) has been proven to contribute to higher levels of organizational satisfaction, ideation, and innovation. HR Leaders in Tech will be participating in this important workshop that will be led by a group of expert facilitators in their respective domains. Participants will come together to learn how to leverage EDI in their respective HR strategies that will influence organizational innovation, growth, and transformation.

Erin Willett
Erin Willett
Leadership development and Culture Strategy
Erin grew up surrounded by tundra, frozen lakes and migrating caribous in the Subarctic of Quebec, Canada. She had the privilege of being able to experience the rich customs of the Naskapi and Innu Peoples of that land. These early years planted the seeds which sparked her passion for identity and became the bedrock that inspired her work as a strategist; fueling her efforts of authentic communication and meaningful culture-building. Obsessed with how she could support others in truthful expression of self, Erin studied in Marketing and Graphic Design before venturing into the entrepreneurial world over a decade ago. In 2015, she launched a brand consultancy and developed a culture-building methodology that enables teams to face change by honouring their individuality and using their diverse perspectives to fuel their creativity. She has always believed that business could be done with a more purposeful, sustainable and inclusive approach; New Room is the manifestation of this vision. As co-founder of New Room, Erin leads program design and is committed to supporting learners as they redefine and expand what leadership looks like, creating space for the potential of folks who have been marginalized, creating space for conscious leadership, creating space for new ideas and visions to arise and take shape.
