Prior to joining VentureTech, Berry helped lead the NMotion start-up accelerator and work directly with entrepreneurs through his independent consultancy, Smart Matter.     Before jumping head-first into the start-up scene, Berry was involved for close to a decade with sales, product development, consulting and leadership at a global talent assessment company, Talent Plus. While there, he earned the Global Professional of Human Resources designation by the Human Resources Certification Institute and worked with dozens of talent management companies while leading Talent Plus’ strategic alliance program. A Nebraska native, Berry currently resides in Lincoln with his wife, Trisha, and their four children.     Kelli Lieurance

    Kelli P. Lieurance is a partner at Baird Holm LLP who focuses on labor and employment law compliance, assisting employers with proactive, rather than just defensive, compliance efforts. Her practical approach not only offers clients a realistic view of their legal obligations, but also assists clients in implementing such obligations in a way that best suits their business needs.

    Kelli received her Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2005, where she was awarded the Justice Lloyd Kagey Leadership Award. While in law school she served as Senior Publications Editor for the Kansas Journal of Law: Public Policy and was a Student Bar Association Officer and Class President. She received a Bachelor of Arts in English, with honors and distinction, from the University of Kansas in 2002.

    Kelli advises and trains clients on general day-to-day employment issues, including those related to the FLSA, FMLA, and other federal and state regulations. She also advises and defends employers on EEO matters, and prior to joining the firm, served as a legal intern for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Office of Federal Operations, in Washington D.C. She develops and has successfully defended many Affirmative Action Programs before the OFCCP, and counsels clients on all aspects of Affirmative Action compliance. Kelli also focuses on the implications of technology and social media use in the workplace, and advises employers on how best to protect themselves. Additionally, she provides counsel to employers on payroll card implementation and e-pay stub use.

A widely-sought after public speaker, she has shared her insight at numerous business and HR/recruiting industry conferences and events.     Vicki joined American National Bank in November of 2013 and is responsible
    for all Human Capital strategy, including Organizational Development and
    Learning, Performance Management and Benefits Administration. Prior to
    American National Bank, Vicki was the Vice President of Member Experience
    and Workforce Solution for PayFlex an Aetna subsidiary. Vicki also has
    extensive experience with in the recruiting arena as she was responsible
    for International Recruiting for the eBay subsidiary, PayPal where she
    worked with PayPal’s Worldwide Operations overseeing the North American,
    European and Asia-Pacific regions. In addition to being involved with
    successful startups in the technology arena, Vicki had also served as HR
    Director for SITEL Corporation, an international telecommunications
    company. Vicki received her Bachelor of Science in Human Resources
    Management from Bellevue University
