Amber Authier is an HR professional with over 20 years of experience in the start-up and scale-up space. Over the last decade, Amber was a key member of the People and Culture team at The Working Group (TWG). She helped grow the team from 30 to 150 employees and ultimately worked on the transition team when the company was acquired by Deloitte Digital in 2021. Previous to transitioning into her HR career, Amber was a Marketing and Communications professional in the music industry, working with artists such as Roger Waters, James Taylor and Blue Rodeo. Amber is a skilled writer with pieces published in the Globe & Mail, Exclaim and Divine.ca. When Amber isn’t working she can be found at one of the many Toronto live music venues, taking in a concert, or cheering on her Toronto Blue Jays.
