The tech industry is known for leading the way in attracting and recruiting top talent from diverse backgrounds, but one group that has consistently been overlooked is people with disabilities. With more than one billion people globally and 6.2 million in Canada living with disabilities, it’s crucial for HR, talent leaders, and practitioners to rethink their approach to hiring and supporting this group of individuals.
The inaugural Rethinking Disabilities conference, hosted by ScaleHR in Toronto, is designed to help attendees address these challenges. From attracting and recruiting talent with disabilities to ensuring their inclusion in the workplace, the conference will cover a range of topics led by speakers who have a disability themselves. The sessions will be focused on actionable and inspiring “hands-on learning” to provide attendees with tangible solutions that they can apply in their workplaces. By attending this event, you will not only gain valuable insights into the challenges faced by people with disabilities but also support a charitable organization that helps them thrive!
We’re adding new and exciting events, so be sure to check back regularly. We can’t wait to see you at our upcoming events!
