Jennifer grew up in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario. She attended Lake Superior State University in Michigan, where she completed a Bachelor of Education with a minor in English and Psychology. It was during her internship year that she began doing one-on-one work with autistic persons and developed a passion for individualized, person-centered support.
Jennifer’s second love has always been customer service, thriving on making people feel seen, and appreciated and building strong relationships. In 2005 she moved to Ottawa and continued her work in the private sector. Jennifer began working for Bridgehead Coffee in 2008 and, throughout her 14 years with the company, was able to combine her love of hospitality, education, and individualized support through managing diverse teams and helping to cultivate and foster inclusion within the company. Jennifer is passionate that every individual deserves the right to a rich and fulfilled life and aspires to educate employers on the overwhelming benefits of cultivating diverse teams.
Outside of work Jennifer loves early mornings, going for runs, spending time with her two dogs, golfing with her partner, and finding a good ice cream cone!
