Susan LaMotte got her first W-2 at age 14 and hasn’t stopped working or thinking about the way people work ever since. She is the Founder and CEO of exaqueo (ex-ack-we-o), a premier employer brand consulting firm, named as one of the Inc. 5000 fastest-growing and most successful private companies for the second consecutive year in 2023. A pioneer in employer brand and a 25-year human resources veteran, Susan has consulted on employer brand, recruiting, and talent strategy around the world for brands including Google, Zillow, CBRE, Princeton University, T-Mobile, Baxter, Lyft, Universal, Fannie Mae, CVS Health and many more. She has an MBA in Human Resources and Marketing from Vanderbilt University, an MA in Human Resource Development from George Washington University, and a BA in Communications and Public Relations from Virginia Tech. Susan resides in Charleston, South Carolina with her husband and two children. She is passionate about being a working mom and a female founder.
