Valerie is an accomplished HR executive with over 20 years of experience in a variety of industries from banking to cannabis. Known for her empathic and authentic leadership style, Valerie brings passion, integrity and humanity to the organizations she serves. Most recently, Valerie was the VP, People & Culture for Fire & Flower, a public, multi-banner, technology-driven Cannabis retailer with 100+ stores and 1,000 employees across Canada. Valerie is also an impassioned advocate for the Epilepsy Community and currently sits on the Board of Directors for Epilepsy South Central Ontario (ESCO). In her downtime, you will find Valerie at the beach with her family and beloved dog Maui.
